With Sarek National Park just a stone’s throw away and Kebnekaise National Park a little further north, Kåbdalis is an ideal base for Nordic ski touring. Whether you take the easy way out by using the famous Kungsleden huts or the more adventurous way by doing it all in a tent, you will be in the heart of the most beautiful place for Nordic ski touring.
Kåbdalis is an alpine ski resort where the world’s top skiers gather in November for pre-season training. Although we are not in the Alps, it is steep enough to really enjoy downhill skiing.
Night lighting is also provided on the lifts.
The fun of packrafting in Lapland is that you have to plan your own route from river to river, from lake to lake. You will cross areas where you will meet no one, except perhaps the odd Sami hunter, who will be as surprised as you are by the encounter.
Canoeing is a unique way to experience the landscape of the area. It is a gentle and silent way of entering into the intimacy of the veins that nourish them.
A quick glance at a map reveals a multitude of lakes just waiting to be visited by anglers. A simple licence can be purchased on site. Fishing is possible all year round.
Situated on the edge of a lake, the tranquillity of our base camp is ideal for any kind of artistic activity. Contact us to organise a short or long stay.
Geoffroy also offers a photography workshop in the autumn.
