Kåbdalis is close to four national parks (Sarek, Muddus/Muttos, Stora Sjöfallet/Stuor Muorkke park and Padjelanda/Badjelánnda). Laponia is the largest remaining wilderness area in Europe. It has been declared a World Heritage Site.
Kåbdalis is also surrounded by old growth forests just waiting to be explored.
